Ravyn’s Song

32' long and 8' high.

This mural was commissioned by Peter P. Rezansoff, President and CEO of ITC Construction Group, and donated to the City of Nanaimo. It is situated in the lobby of the Nanaimo Museum / Convention Center.

While this piece is inspired by a personal experience, it is also a public piece open to everyone's interpretation. Open to interpretation, this piece speaks of spirit, of fluidity, of music, of flight, of a society of mixed races and cultures, united by shared concern, living in harmony at the edge of land and sea.

The Shores

Commissioned in 2006 by a visionary developer, this piece flanks both sides of an ocean front community.

Flight of the Swallow

80' long x 4' high.

This piece was inspired on a day when I watched my friend Tyler save a family of swallows from their nest on the cliff face of a sandstone quarry. The patterns they made on the wind, their wings and their spirits dancing in that long afternoon sun were mesmerizing.
